Filmed a promo piece on Haldon Hill for Jules last sunday, hanging out of a car with my Canon 5DmkII.
Created this separate edit with just the bike footage.
Will also place clips in my quite overdue show reel!
Edited and graded with Adobe Premier Pro and MB Looks.
Used a fairly high shutter speed, and the Cinestyle colour profile.
Did a bit of filming on holiday in Paris, just had a fixed 50mm for the 5D sadly! Fun day, ate way to much chocolate!
The Salon du Chocolat is the not-to-be-missed event for those who share a passion for this exceptional product. It is a link between those who grow cocoa and those who consume chocolate.
Come and meet cocoa growers, discover the best chocolatiers, admire unique exhibitions and attend recipes demonstrations. Every year, the Salon is also dotted with special events, celebrations and performances. Some of them have become iconic such as the famous Chocolate Dresses Fashion Show.
The Salon du Chocolat never ceases to amaze you!

I’ve just finished a promo video for the Vida Guitar Quartet, showcasing pieces from their latest CD release. Visit www.vidagq.com for more information about the quartet.
The Vida Guitar Quartet brings together four guitarists of exceptional ability and virtuosity sharing a passion for chamber music. The quartet are rapidly gaining a reputation as one of the most exciting guitar ensembles in the UK. Vida have released their first CD, ‘Love, the magician’ on the BGS label.
Shot some video on a sunny walk in Richmond last year, didn’t see any deer sadly. Had my dad carry my tripod most of the afternoon! Music is ‘Arrival of the Birds’ by The Cinematic Orchestra.
Shot with Canon 5DII, edited in CS5.5
I filmed a series of videos for Phillip Henry and Hannah Martin this month, to help promote their new songs for 2012 live appearances. Go to www.philliphenry.co.uk to purchase their latest CD release.
Recently described as, “Authentic, haunting roots music from a first class duo” (Seth Lakeman), Phillip Henry and Hannah Martin are two folk musicians with a fast growing following on the folk and roots scene. Having just completed two tours with Show Of Hands, they have been receiving very warm reviews of their debut album, “Singing The Bones”, including selection for a fRoots magazine compilation; and airplay on Mike Harding, who said, “I was completely knocked out by this duo…just a terrific album…absolutely great, wonderful” (4/5/11, BBC Radio Two).
We tracked the audio into my pro tools setup ( Cables up 2 flights of stairs! ) and sync’d up the mix into Adobe CS5.5. Mixed with UAD plug’ins and mastered with Izotope Ozone. I hired a second camera alongside my Canon 5DII, the video was graded with Magic Bullets Looks suite.
Filmed ‘Hieroglyph Girl’ for Otto to promote the release of his debut CD ‘Skeleton Heart’. Shot the video in a spare room at my parents house, and recorded the 5 track acoustic EP at my studio.
Amy Turk performs a Andy McKee track called ‘Into the Ocean’, filmed at my studio earlier this year. Pop over to youtube, the video has been placed on Andy’s website this week and has gone viral by the look of it!
